Prichard’s Distillery
Prichard’s Distillery in Kelso, Tennessee, might seem to be in the wrong business. After all, the distillers are smack dab in the middle of Tennessee whiskey territory. But in addition to making a fine set of rums, the company makes a fine set of whiskeys, so this is simply a case of building on one’s strengths.
In addition to “fine rum”, Prichard’s produces some flavored rums -- think key lime and peach-mango -- but they are all produced from the same base. That would be the Crystal Rum, Prichard’s white rum. You can tell from this delicate, balanced, fresh rum that the Prichard’s process, which starts with grade A fancy molasses as opposed to blackstrap molasses, is all about finesse. It’s a great white rum and one that can make a believer out of almost any white rum hater.

I guess you read different economic texts than I; my reading refers to the 'quadrilateral of trade', which includes either Canada or the US, and then England, for textiles etc. to take to Africa.

Isn't Puerto Rico part of the US? My personal favorite is Don Q - a true treasure.
