American Rums So, first on my list of domestic rums worth the search would be Ragged Mountain Rum from Berkshire Mountain Distillers, located in Great Barrington, MA, an area much better known for skiing than umbrella drinks! Ragged Mountain Rum is handcrafted in small batches and cut with local spring water, making it appealing to locavores. But it does sound nice and the end result is a refined, smooth glass of sunshiny spirits.

    I guess you read different economic texts than I; my reading refers to the 'quadrilateral of trade', which includes either Canada or the US, and then England, for textiles etc. to take to Africa.
