Don Q Anejo Rum Puerto Rico-92 points

92 points, Chairman’s Trophy in El Presidente

“What makes this classic old cocktail recipe from 1920s Havana work so well is the unifying aspect of the Don Q Añejo. The dry dark rum base makes the vermouth, orange curaçao, grenadine and the Angostura bitters sparkle with crisp tartness. This is a cocktail of medium depth and sprightly freshness. The Don Q Añejo doesn't overshadow the other ingredients; rather it enhances them. Splendid!”-Paul Pacult, UBC Chairman
