Cold cocktails should be served in cold glasses. But there are different ways to chill a glass. Don’t worry; they all work well! It’s just a matter of choosing the method that works best for your situation.
Here are the ways you can chill your cocktail glasses:
1. Keep glasses in the fridge or freezer. This is the easiest method, but only if you have the room to do it. Works great for a small gathering or quiet cocktail evening at home, but not for a large party.
2. Fill glasses with ice and water. While you mix the drinks, let the glassware sit and chill out. Dump the ice out, shake the glass, then pour in your cocktail. This is a good method for medium-size parties with one bartender.
3. Keep glasses in ice. Make a little mountain of crushed ice. Turn the glasses upside down and store them in the ice. This is a good method for a large party or one where people are mixing their own drinks.

Your Martini recipe is a joke! A good Martini needs at least 2 tsp dry vermouth per two oz. of gin. A great addition to this is one dash of orange bitters.

Yeah, really! Why is The Spir.it hatin' on vermouth? A proper martini should have a good measure of it. Maybe Churchill preferred straight gin martinis, but he was a drunk!
