This dangerously quaffable champagne cocktail, courtesy of Drink of the Week, utilizes the sweeter Meyer lemon to give the drink a more subtle tang. Vodka adds some heft and the limoncello gives it its sunny disposition. Throw in a functional ice block to keep chilled and you have yourself springtime in a bowl!

To continue our celebration of Spring and our new book, here's a fun recipe from DIY Cocktails! This punch is like a big champagne cocktail for you and all your friends. The crisp lemon flavor and effervescence are the perfect way to keep celebrating Spring!
I like to use Meyer lemons, which are a little sweeter than your typical lemon. For those who prefer less alcohol, you can reduce the amount of vodka or skip it altogether.
Italian Sparkling Citrus Punch
1 cup vodka
1 1/2 cups simple syrup
1 1/2 cups limoncello
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 750 ml bottle of Prosecco
Stir all ingredients except the Prosecco together in a glass punch bowl. Cover and refrigerate for two hours. Add the Prosecco and an ice block just before serving.
