Created by Chef Jared Van Camp for his restaurant's Kitchen Cocktail Program, this swizzle mixes peach with mint and ginger, and is served with shaved ice, perfect for a late August refreshment. The recipe is also made with peach preserves rather than fresh peaches, so though they are incredibly tasty this time of year, they can be enjoyed year-round.

Peach Swizzle
2 slices of peeled fresh ginger
2 oz peach preserves (passed through a food mill)
2 oz Flor de Caña Rum
Dash of Angostura Bitters
