The Best Whiskey for Your Cocktail For this week's edition of the Ultimate Beverage Challenge series, we bring you the top rated U.S. whiskeys for making cocktails. Judges tasted numerous American whiskeys in three classic cocktails, picking one best whiskey for each recipe. For the first time in our series, one whiskey won the Chairman's Trophy for two of the tasted cocktails. Bulleit Rye Whiskey placed first for both the Mint Julep and the Manhattan!
