2 oz. Tequila/Mezcal
1 oz. House Ginger Beer
3/4 oz. Crème de Cassis
3/4 oz. Lemon Juice
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lemon wheel and candied ginger.
Chairman’s Trophy Winner for El Diablo-95 points
“Gorgeously ruby/crimson in the Collins glass. Tart, yet fruity bouquet that's slightly peppery and herbal from the Tres Agave tequila. The addition of creme de cassis is inspired, as it counters the earthy/salty/dill-like qualities of the Tres Agave with a keen tartness.”-Paul Pacult, UBC Chairman
2 oz. Tequila/Mezcal
3/4 oz. Lime Juice
1/2oz. Simple Syrup
1/4 oz. Pomegranate Molasses
2 Strawberries, a slice taken out of the middle and reserved for garnish
2 Thin Slices Green Bell Pepper
Add the strawberries, green pepper slices, and molasses to a mixing glass and muddle. Add in the rest of the ingredients, fill the glass with ice, and shake vigorously. Strain into a coupe and garnish with a slice of strawberry.
Chairman’s Trophy Winner in Fresa Verde-93 points
“Invitingly lovely in the frosted coupe glass, the interplay between the Tres Agaves Añejo, lime juice, strawberries and bell pepper is harmonious and refreshing. A superb warm-weather cocktail in which the tequila base is afforded the opportunity to shine.”-Paul Pacult, UBC Chairman
2 oz. Tequila/Mezcal
1 oz. Cointreau
3/4 oz. Lime Juice
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Chairman’s Trophy Winner in Margarita-94 points
“The Margarita is as easy as one-two-three. Just a trio of ingredients conspire to make one of the world's tastiest and most refreshing cocktails. (Why would anyone be satisfied with a packaged mix?) With so few components each must be of the highest quality and Tres Agaves delivers the goods offering body, depth, and pure agave flavors.”-Paul Pacult, UBC Chairman
