Ginger Rodgers

Ingredients

• 2 ½ oz Blood Orange
• 1 ½ oz Vodka
• 1 oz Ginger Beer
• 1 oz Ginger Syrup
• ½ oz Brandy
• ½ oz Canton Ginger Liqueur

Preparation

Place all contents in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake. Pour into chilled glass and serve with either orange rind or candied ginger.

Description

Developed during a house party. Guests' reactions were mixed, with some loving it so much they wanted it written down on the spot, and others saying it was too sweet. Well worth the effort (and variations will work well in a pinch, have made it with out syrup or brandy and had it come out fine.)
