Crush the lime wedge, one strawberry and the basil in the mixing glass of a boston shaker, add the gin and let rest for some minutes. In the metal beaker of the shaker, on clear ice pour some martini, shake well and rinse troughly. Shake all the ingredients very well, pour in the glass trough a tea strainer, fill with champagne decorate with a strawberry on the rim of the galss.
Try basil instead of mint in many concotion, I suggets it not 'cause I'm italian ;) but 'cause it's worth. Given for free, a Moijto made with basil instead of Yerba buena...
